“My first involvement with Daniel Stallings’ productions was when he came to Bakersfield at my request to write a murder mystery based in a 1920’s speakeasy, Murder at The Red Fez, for my Red Hat Society chapter. It was an outstanding event and is still talked about in my chapter years later. My chapter and I have traveled to Ridgecrest three times since to see his productions, Goodbye Hollywood, Goodbye Hollywood: At the Rainbow’s End, and The Last Garden Party. All were thoroughly entertaining and thought-provoking murder mysteries. There was never a simple solution to the murder(s) so it was imperative to pay close attention to the clues throughout the productions. My personal favorite was The Last Garden Party. It had stellar performances from all of the cast members. So engrossing was the storyline. Time just flew by. Daniel is an excellent writer and director and I am looking forward to taking my chapter to another production here in Bakersfield. Although we are willing to travel to see this amazing young man’s work.”
