In late October, Master Mystery Productions will be reuniting with our first ever clients–The Red Hat Ladies of Bakersfield–for our sixteenth show and our final production for the 2017 season. The theme is high fashion, and we need a model for a series of glamorous, couture, and mysterious photos. Because in the end, a picture really will be worth 1,000 words.
FEMME FATALES MODEL CASTING
Saturday, September 30, 2017
2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Red Rock Books
The magazines thought she was drop dead gorgeous. Until she dropped dead. Fashion model, Willow, was the at the peak of her career, booking high fashion editorials for Femme Fatales magazine and becoming the face of Carmine Couture. Backstage at one of Carmen Carmine’s intimate salon fashion shows, Willow is found strangled to death. Now several years after her passing, Carmine Couture is holding another salon fashion show in honor of the model and the charity she founded for breast cancer research. But the invited guests tonight remember Willow all too well as one of them ended her promising career prematurely. But who in the killer world of couture wanted her dead? The truth will out as a group of femme fatales gather to pore over the evidence, learning exactly why a picture’s worth a thousand words. Because in one of them, a deadly secret is unveiled.
We are looking for a woman ages 18 to 35 of any background to play fashion model Willow in a series of fashion photographs that will tell the story about her murder. There is no minimum height or weight. All levels of modeling/acting experience are welcome.
Character description:
WILLOW–High fashion model who booked some of the biggest jobs in the industry. She was the face of Carmine Couture’s “Exotica” fashion line and Carmine Beauty. She was a regular model for Femme Fatales magazine, and she was the founder of the Haute Pink Foundation, which sold a specialty cosmetics line to help fund treatments, research, and awareness campaigns for breast cancer. She was inspired after her mother and grandmother contracted breast cancer. Beautiful and business-minded, Willow was a true professional who was passionate about her industry and shrewd enough to manage her own affairs.
Photographer Michelle Stallings and show writer/director Daniel Stallings will lead the casting. Models will fill out a casting form and be photographed for reference. The model selected will be paid for her work.
None of the photo shoots planned involve any nudity or sexual suggestion. It’s all about the clothes. We plan to photograph during the first few weekends in October a series of four shoots minimum.
Shoots include:
Accessories shoot
Two beauty shots
Fictional fashion line shoot
More information will be presented during and post-casting.
